Hillary Finds Religion.....Or NOT!

Invoking Biblical themes, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton joined immigration advocates Wednesday to vow and block legislation seeking to criminalize undocumented immigrants. xxx Clinton renewed her pledge to oppose a bill passed in December by the House that would make unlawful presence in the United States, currently a civil offense, a felony. xxx Surrounded by a multicultural coalition of New York immigration advocates, Clinton blasted the House bill as "mean-spirited" and said it flew in the face of Republicans' stated support for faith and values. xx xxx
"It is certainly not in keeping with my understanding of the Scriptures," Clinton said, "because this bill would literally criminalize the Good Samaritan and probably even Jesus himself."
Clinton is a lawyer, and she doesn't want to enforce laws on the books.
"He who showed mercy on him." Then Jesus said to him, "Go and Do Likewise."
The fact is a democratic process is evolving to determine fairness in immigration law to hit the right balance and fairness. Do we give an immigration bonus to those who entered America illegally, ahead of those who are going through lawful channels to enter the states? Is asking people to follow laws flying in the face of scriptures?

When the question, "Who is my neighbor?" is brought up in the scriptures we don't believe the question is determining passing through borders and breaking laws. If we release illegal immigrants into our society ahead of the legal process, what message are we delivering?

Taking care of "thy neighbor" is an insurmountable task if our neigbor is a whole country outside of our borders. Having strict laws to help our neighbor is reasonable and proper. We are not passing by someone dying in the street, we are showing compassion, which is the American way.

"But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion."

Clinton states, "We want the outcome to be that they're on the wrong side of the politics as well as the wrong side of history and American values."

Yet Clinton continues in her expertise of triangulation, using politics mixed with religion to air her venom at conservatives, in particular, the far right-wing. This method is dubious at best, considering Clinton's propensity to move her political theme forward and backwards to meet the need of the day. And...a Clinton discussing values? That too flies demonstrates a greater hypocrisy.

Liberals invoke separation of religion and state when it is deemed appropriate to their desire to suffocate the truth. Clinton invoking religion to appeal to the conservative base is laughable at best. Like her husband walking around carrying his bible while entertaining his interns on the side, Hillary carries religion when it suits her political needs without requiring law enforcement based on Christian principles.

Hell, Karl Rove left more brains in the commode then Hillary ever developed throughout her career.

She's trying to catch hubby Bill's draft as a triangulator, but in fact she is further left than he is.
