Kofi Annan On The Wrong Side of Terrorism - Again!

Israeli commandos raided a Hezbollah stronghold deep in Lebanon on Saturday, engaging in a fierce gunbattle, and the Lebanese government threatened to halt further troop deployments in protest as the six-day-old U.N.-brokered cease-fire was put to a critical test.

Israel said the raid was launched to stop arms smuggling from Iran and Syria to the militant Shiite fighters, while Lebanon's Prime Minister Fuad Saniora called the operation a "flagrant violation" of the U.N. truce.

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan called the operation a violation of the U.N. truce. However, the impotent Annan said nothing in reference to arms deliveries by the puppet masters Syria and Iran.

"If the Syrians and Iran continue to arm Hezbollah in violation of the resolution, Israel is entitled to act to defend the principle of the arms embargo," Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Mark Regev said. I concur but once again Annan is quick to criticize Israel for proactively defending itself.

As we've written before the U.N. Resolution has no meaning the a non-State, non-member of the U.N. And resolutions are meaningless to Iran and Syria who Annan apparently supports. Prime Minister Saniora is open in his criticism of Israel but has done nothing to disarm Hezbollah. It's not in his best interests to do so.

Dude, it was not a "critical test" [of the cease-fire]. It was a violation, by Israel, of the cease-fire. End of story.

So, pretty please, cut the bullshit. I know for a fact that you had absolutely no proof that Syria and Iran were "smuggling" arms to Hezbollah at the time of Israel's violation of the cease-fire. None. You just believed what you wanted to believe because you "support Israel," even if you don't know why you do.

In fact, I bet you cheered when Israel bombed all the bridges, roads, airports, etc., etc., etc., leading into Syria, with the express purpose of thwarting the smuggling of arms to Hezbollah. I guess you're going to say they missed a couple of tunnels or some other bullshit.

Now, since you don't have a clue what is really going on, you stroke yourself back up into a hard-on for Kofi Annan, as if he were responsible for the failure of the cease-fire. He isn't. You need to restrain yourself. Look up the definition of "knee-jerk reactionary." It fit's you like a f98765g glove.

Finally, as of this writing, France sent peace-keeping troops via the UN to try to oversee the cease-fire. About forty-five French troops. This was a couple days ago. You didn't go, your friends didn't go, the retarded, wet-brain president Bush didn't go. Laugh at the French, they're the ones who practically wrote the cease-fire accord, which both sides agreed to, while dickheads like you and the Bush administration wanted the war to continue.

You're just one more pretentious keyboard cowboy.
