Quotes from the Past and Today's Reality

Many on the left, such as Ned Lamont, the current Democratic Senatorial candidate from Connecticut believe we should use more carrots and talk with the Iranians. Hasn't this been going on for sometime now with Britain, France and Germany failing to resolve the nuclear threat from Iran?
Sen. William Borah's reaction in September 1939 upon hearing that Hitler had invaded Poland: "Lord, if only I could have talked with Hitler, all this might have been avoided."
Today's reality demonstrates talking to Hitler would be as futile as talking to Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Talking to crazed leaders simply postpones the inevitable, which means the potential crisis will grow to the crisis stage when it may be to late.
